


RACHP-Lab can accurately model fin-tube heat exchangers with high fidelity. The validated fin-tube heat exchanger model can be used to simulate a wide range of fin types and custom tubes-circuitry. RACHP-Lab also incorporates an accurate model for tubes either smooth or Micro-finned. Databases for different fin-dies, copper tubes, and fans can be defined and used regularly for different heat exchanger designs.
RACHP-Lab was developed to be flexible; Different simulation models for compressors are available with detailed performance characteristics, to be able to simulate the performance of the compressors with high accuracy. RACHP-Lab also provides a set of tools to switch between different compressor simulation models easily. RACHP-Lab also provides a plug-and-play option, with compressors from major manufacturers available to be imported by 1-click.
RACHP-Lab is capable of modeling micro-channel heat exchangers accurately. Additionally, RACHP-Lab can model multi-row microchannel heat exchangers that are used in evaporators in the HVAC industry.
